i-Systems is forging ahead with a company wide drive to further raise the already high quality and standards of work delivered by i-Systems engineers to an industry leading standard. This initiative covers many areas, including training in health & safety, specialist technical telecoms and electrical works, customer care, equality & diversity, quality management, environmental management and project management, as well as investing in the very best tools, equipment and conditions for engineers to deliver outstanding work.
Founder and Health & Safety Manager, James Evans, commented, “As a business we take health & safety very seriously and aim for a zero accident rate. In support of this, we are delighted to report that all of our field engineers have completed the IOSH Working Safely course which is recognised by the Construction Skills Certification Scheme as equivalent to a Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a construction environment. We are determined to stand out from the crowd as a great employer in the telecoms and electrical services world and this recent development is just one example of the commitment we have as a business to make i-Systems a great place to work, develop and grow”.
This IOSH course trains workers to ensure their individual and collective actions contribute to health & safety in the workplace and that responsibilities are clearly understood. It enables workers, at all levels, to be aware of their responsibilities for safety towards themselves, colleagues and others affected by work activities.
